We are pleased to invite you to the 7th AIROYoung Workshop. After the workshops held in Rome (2017, 2019, 2022), Cosenza (2018), and Bozen (2020), and the online version organized in 2021, the 7th Edition of AIROYoung Workshop, with the title “Operations Research Beyond Frontier” will be held in Milan (Italy), at Università degli Studi di Milano from the 15th to the 17th February 2023.
AIROYoung is the youth chapter of AIRO, the Italian Operational Research Society. Through a rich and always up-to-date platform, AIROYoung offers a wide network of opportunities to all under 35 who work in the fields of Operations Research, Decision and Data Science. The mission of AIROYoung is fostering collaboration between PhD students, young Researchers and Practitioners interested in OR, providing them with new opportunities to advance their career and expand their network, allowing them to present their research and to create new contacts. Furthermore, AIROYoung acts like a bridge between the academic and the industrial worlds, trying to connect the demand and the offer in the OR job market.

We invite all AIROYoung members, Ph.D. students in Operations Research and related topics, early-stage Researchers (Ph.D. degree <= 5 years) or anyone with a strong interest in OR (<=35 years old) to submit abstracts on contributions to be presented during the workshop.
Contributions concerning emerging applications of OR to computer science and statistical data analysis are especially welcomed.
Abstracts should be sent by December 23rd December 30th 2022 to ayw2023@di.unimi.it with “Abstract submission AYWorkshop 7” as subject.
The acceptance of the contribution will be notified to the author by email by January 9th, 2023.
Submitted abstracts are limited to one-page length in pdf format.

Abstracts can be prepared using
the Abstract LaTeX Template
All presenters are asked to register here and send proof of travel booking by email to ayw2023@di.unimi.it no later than January 16th, 2023.
Accepted abstracts will be published online on the workshop website but will not be directly included in the workshop proceedings.
Abstracts accepted for presentation can be extended after the workshop.
The extended abstracts cannot exceed the 12 pages, including title page and bibliography (appendices excluded). They will be considered for publication in the proceedings of the event on a volume of the AIROSpringer Series (Springer) after a peer-review process.
More details on the extended abstract submission (template, deadline, etc.) will be communicated afterward. Stay tuned!
